There is the great little town just a few minutes away from us. Every year for Memorial Day weekend they have a festival. Lots of food, rides, and parades. This was our first year going to check it out and the kids had a ton of fun! Naomi had fallen asleep in the car on the way there, so she didn't want to do much at first, but it didn't take long for her to join in the action. So only Isaac, Jojo, and Aleah rode on some of the rides.

Ever since we got rid of Naomi's binky she doesn't really nap anymore. Sometimes I will lay her down in her crib and she'lll cry the first 15 mins and then jump around and play for the other 90. With the girls sharing a room now I usually don't even bother to lay her down anymore since she'll just wake Jojo up from her nap earlier. Usually she'll relax and watch tv on the couch or something. This day she must have been really tired, because she totally crashed while playing.

I had to snap a couple of pictures of Jojo wearing this dress. It was one of my favorites on Naomi last summer and I knew I'd love it just as much on her!! And she loved being the pretty girl in it!

My Mother's Day surprise!!

As much as I hate how I look in these pictures I still had to post them! My great hubby, who endured much whining on Mother's Day itself, had set up a whole day full of surprises for me!! Starting with this limo that came to pick me up at the house on Saturday morning. He didn't tell me where it was taking me and gave me a bag he had packed himself!! Turns out it was set for the Spa, where I was pampered all day! Then the limo came back to get me (another surprise, I had thought he was going to pick me up!!) And took me to meet him at yet another undisclosed location...the Melting Pot, one of my favorite restaurants. And the day still wasn't over, he then had surprised me by booking two of our Fave sitters, Jules and Laura, to spend the night with the kids while him and I got to spend the night away!! It was all so wonderful, and the best part was seeing all the details he had thought through! Down to my outfit to change into and watch and bracelet! For the last 4 years I always whine about how I go overboard in making his days (bdays, father's, etc) so special and feel like he never puts thought into them for me. Well, he's made up for the last 4 years and then some!!

Isaac had his Preschool graduation at a park in Hudson! It was lots of fun! I am sure before we even know it we'll be down in Akron seeing him on the big stage! I am so greatful that God has provided for me to be home with him during this precious time we have!!

Our friends the Colberts came over on one of the first nicest days we had this summer. So we of course brought out the sprinklers and water balloons. (Of course it hasn't been this beautiful since this day!) The kids all had a blast playing together!

Escalades and Girls!

Last year with some Yard Sale money we bought the kids this Escalade since it was big enough for two, and Isaac could drive Nana around (he is quite the driver, just don't ask him to back up of anywhere tight!! ;) So now this year Nana still can't drive herself (at least not without us chasing her to keep her from running things over!), but Jojo also wants in on the fun! Since the girls are little munchkins, they can all fit and big brother Isaac drives them all around!!
